The International Humanitarian City (IHC) welcomed today at its warehouses a formal visit from H.E. Massimo Baggi Ambassador of Switzerland to the UAE and Bahrain, to learn about IHC and the humanitarian community-based in Dubai. IHC members representatives from WHO and IFRC attended the visit.

Mr Giuseppe Saba, IHC CEO, welcomed the Swiss Ambassador and gave an overview presentation of IHC role in various humanitarian projects, shedding light on the humanitarian community’s response in general and COVID-19 in specific.WHO and IFRC highlighted their role in Covid-19 response and their activities from IHC.

This was followed by a tour to the IHC showroom, presenting the Humanitarian Logistics Databank as an important logistics tool, various relief aid items stored by IHC members and IHC Cold Chain facility.
